The first real estate opportunity was the old railway compound in Jerusalem that had been abandoned and neglected over the years. The Lab, Center for Performing Arts, was the first occupant in the compound beginning in 2003. Today, the place is home for Zappa Jerusalem in the Lab, as well as Jerusalem Venture Partners (JVP) and for different High Tech Companies. The Mint’s goal is to create a home for high-tech companies as well as social and cultural organizations throughout Israel. It currently has projects in Haifa and Beer Sheva as well as Jerusalem.
